    SPIRIT OF THE NORTH 2 – CONSOLE PORTING, PROGRAMMING SUPPORT

    Spirit of the North 2, Infuse Studio

    We worked with Infuse Studio on their open world adventure game “Spirit of the North 2” We supported them with our programming expertise and our thorough knowledge of Unreal Engine. Besides general programming, such as code optimization and plugin integration, we were responsible for four boss fights in Spirit of the North 2:

    • Starting with a general look and feel of the encounter
    • Coming up with and implementing attack patterns
    • Implementing provided animations, preparing interfaces for encounter intro/outro
    • Create the full gameplay loop with multiple phases and difficulty increases
    • Refining and iterating the bossfight

    We were also responsible for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S console versions of the game. In close exchange with Infuse Studio and their publisher Silver Lining Interactive, we helped bring a smooth and optimized version on the respective stores. Our workflow included:

    • Building the Game for consoles
    • Getting the game to launch on the target platforms
    • Finding the ideal settings and device profiles on each plattform
    • CPU and GPU Optimizations
      • Including Audio, Lighting, Save Game and general code optimizations
    • Reducing the memory footprint of the game
    • Close cooperation with the QA testing team
    • Platform Compliance in cooperation with Silver Lining Interactive and Sony / Microsoft
    • Uploading and Publishing builds in cooperation with Silver Lining Interactive
    • Setup for add-on content

    WE ARE ONE – VR GAME ASSETS

    Virtual Reality – Game Assets for “We Are One”

    We were tasked with creating new weapon assets for “We Are One” a VR Puzzle Shooter developed by Flat Head Studio.

    Based on an existing Gameplay Design and with excellent Art Direction by Melanie Bartl, we developed the Assets from initial Concept to final in-game Assets including Rigs and Animation. The Assets were designed to match the hand-drawn artstyle of the game and with VR constraints in mind.
