    The world of WHALIEN is inspired by the look of plastic toys and colorful candy. We use bold colors and simplified shapes to encourage a sense of “playfulness”. Being a physics based puzzle adventure, it is important that objects are easily readable at a glance.

    Our responsibilities include world design, digital pre-production, look development, analogue set planning and building as well as some post production (digital Backgrounds and vfx)

    User Interfaces

    From main menus to setting pages, over scoreboards to dialoge screens and item descriptions UI is a constant companion in games. We have over 5 Years of professional experience creating User Interfaces in Unreal Engine for PC and Consoles.
    We create resolution independent UI to be interacted with controller, mouse and keyboard.

    Here’s some examples of our UI in various states of Development, from early versions allowing us quick and functional navigation through early builds, to final and polished Scenes conveying information just as much as emotion.
